Your first day of the plan

It’s your first time or day to use the plan.

On this first day, it’s a preparation day. It’s the day to get you and your home for ready for the plan.

Because I made the plan for depression and it was what I needed, so this first day is important. You will immediately notice the effectiveness of the plan after the second day.

Assuming you haven’t cleaned your home for days, weeks, or months.

And today you feel you can start, or at least clean a little, to get things under control.

Morning:

Today Cleaning is not a deep cleaning. Do not do extra.

You woke up on the morning of your first day of the plan. You did the morning “Me Time” routine. Now you are ready to put your home in order.

Follow the order of the rooms as it’s written here.

We will start with your room.

The first part of your house to clean in the morning is your room. Make your bed and tidy your room before you walk out the door every morning.

Now lets, get on with it.

  • Your Bedroom:

  •  Make your bed-pick up any rubbish and put them in a bag or bin – sort all clothes on chairs and on the floor to clean and dirty-Put clean basket in a corner – put dirty basket outside the room. Anything on the floor should go to the rubbish or put where they belong. Now your room is done. (No vacuuming now, no dusting).

  • Toilet:

  • spray the toilet seat, under the seat, inside the bowl and outside of the bowl itself and spray the floor around the toilet seat itself.

  • Shower: Take out all the bottles, loofas and so forth, from inside the shower. Rinse down the shower with water alone. The walls, floor and where all the bottles stand. Take your spray bottle and spray the shower walls, bottles, shelves, and floor. Now let it sit and move on to the sink.

  • Sink: Remove everything from the surface. Spray the basin and the surface with your spray bottle. Let it sit while you finish up the cleaning.

  • Back to the toilet: Clean the inside of the toilet bowl if you are using a brush. Wipe down the toilet seat and wipe under the seat. Wipe the outside of the toilet seat. Flush the toilet.

  • Back to the shower: Take a broom and scrub the walls of the shower with it, then scrub the floor. Rinse down the shower after scrubbing. If your shower shelves are removable like mine, wash them and put them back. Rinse all the bottles and soaps and put them back in their places.

  • Back to the sink: Wipe down the sink and the surface of the vanity. Wash the container holding the bottles, and dry. Wash the bottles and products under running water, dry and put them back in place.

  • Mop the floor: Now mop the floor, mop around the toilet seat. Wipe down the outside of the toilet seat.

  • Empty your rubbish and put clean rugs on the floor.

You will do this every morning.

Except: -scrubbing the shower with the broom.

and removing all the bottles from the shower and the sink for washing, unless you want to.
