It’s stressful hence we just dump the socks without pairing in a basket or anything that can hold them. The end result is loosing pairs. while all the pairs may still be around somewhere, they are not together and the cycle of mismatch socks continues, and so as the frustration and the pile of unpair socks also continues to grow.

Hang the socks on the line, one sock a peg. Do not hang more than one socks together. But if you come across a pair, hang the pair together. Once the socks are dry, pair them while still hanging on the line. Pick a sock rotate the line to find the pair. It’s very easy to pair the socks this way. You can spot the pairs easily as they hang on the line. It’s not only easy but very fast.

If you have both socks and other washings on the line. Remove all other laundry first, then do the socks last. This makes the job faster and much easier. You will not believe how this method will make your life so much easier and pleasant. You will forget it’s an annoying chore, because it won’t be anymore.
