Avoid Impulsiveness

Impulsive behaviours are dangerous for those of us with depression.Impulsive behaviours can cause so much harm to you and your family. The thing with impulsive behaviour is our lack of understanding and knowledge to protect us and our loved ones from problems caused by impulsive behaviours.

Impulsiveness comes with depression. Why? Well, everyone has their own theories and psychiatrist, each have their own explanation.

For me, I am not impulsive all the time. My impulsive behaviours are often associated with feeling upset.

When I get upset, I become impulsive, and very unpredictable. I could spend a $1000.00 in one week, on things I don’t need. Or things I may need but, I wasn’t really eager to buy. Or let’s say, it didn’t seem too much of an importance of a need then.

Impulsiveness also happens when we see a post on social media or on a YouTube video.

It’s important to be cautious. Be mindful of your condition and situation before you jump into the bathroom to clean the shower.

What you see and the motivation that triggers your impulsiveness might turn out a disaster as soon as you set your eyes on the reality of things in front of you.

Most of us aren’t searching for cleaning motivation posts, so we can get motivated to clean straight away, but to enjoy the thrill we get from it. Over time, it will do its job and we will eventually clean.

Allowing time for the motivation to reach its maturity and for your mind and body to be well acceptance of the task is a much better pace to follow.
