Spread the love

Breath And Thrive. Breathing Exercises is a well-known practise. Many including experts have concluded that breathing slowly in and out is good for you.

Why Breathing Exercise Is Good?

Slow breathing exercise relaxes your entire body and calms your nerves and mind. I breathe exercise religiously after I found it great for moments when I am tense or when my mind is running 200k an hour.

We breathing like as a habit without knowing, we just breath and never for a second we stop and ask or if we are breathing listen to our breathing. Our everyday breathing is rush always fast it and as we get under stress or involved in heavy physical work or have an episode of anxiety etc, our fast breathing gets faster and can’t reach our lungs and brain, causing the person to faint or even die as their brain and organs get shut out of oxygen.

Slow breathing allows oxygen to reach your brain and your lungs and have it distribute to the parts of your body that need it. As you breathe in slowly and exhale slowly you allow the oxygen to reach its destination slowly, and as you exhale slowly you allow time between inhalation, to regulate oxygen supply allowing it to reach vital parts of your body. As your Nevers, organs and other part of your body get hold of this good supply of air they will function efficiently calming down all your nerves including your mind.

Once all your body inside out is clam, you will feel your mind slowly back to normal and clearing up, your train of thoughts back on track and anything that could have turned bad has now changed to something good. Big troubles avoided.

How to breathe exercise.

Find a peaceful spot to sit. Relax your entire body. Close your eyes. Put your hands on your tummy and inhale gently and slowly. Direct your thinking to your hands on your tummy. Listen to the feeling of your tummy as it feels with air and as it deflates when you exhale. By doing this, you take your mind away from any distractions, you can calm your mind and feel your body out of this world, out of all troubles. Now move your attention to your body, your pulse, your heartbeat, your head etc, try to feel and listen to all the functions of your body.

No one sits and listen to his heartbeat or pulse, this is your golden opportunity to get to know and appreciate what your body functions and organs has been doing to keep you alive while you run your daily routine unware of what your organs are doing for you everyday even while you sleep.

Keep inhaling and exhaling gently and slowly until you feel satisfied.

Now open your eyes.

Now lie back on your back, or sit in a comfortable position. Tuck your tummy in. Close your eyes again.

Now pay attention to your heart, monitor its weight, is it Heavy – Medium- Light or Empty? Catch the weight of your heart and feel it. Never lose contact with your heart weight and feel and be aware of your tummy tuck.
If you relax your tummy and you noticed it, immediately tighten it back. (this prevents your mind from wondering somewhere else).

Now with the feel and the weight of your heart awareness in your mind, slowly quiet your mind down by gathering your thoughts to one place and push them aside by saying the following slowly: I’m in peace, I’m in Peace, I’m in peace, I’m in peace, I’m in peace, I’m well and so happy, I’m grateful for what I have achieved so far today. I’m in a much better position than many, I’m in a better position than many. I’m grateful for what I already have, I’m well and full of joy in this blessed beautiful day. My happy, I’m a wonderful mum, I’m a capable Woman, I’m in peace, I’m in peace, I’m in peace. Repeat these words and phrases until you feel a shift in your heart weight and feel. (you can add any other positive phrases you want). Your mind must be quiet when you are in this state. Once your heart shift or changed its weight and feel, here you should feel the need to exhale. Exhale out all that was making your heart weigh and feel heavy. Now open your eyes and relax your tummy.

Once you open your eyes, Inhale and exhale once more.
